Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, why, who it may be shared with, and what rights you have regarding it.
1. What information we collect
| Type of information | When it's collected |
|---|---|
| Full name and phone number | When placing an order |
| Email address | When signing up for the mailing list / updates |
| Order details (products, quantity, amount) | When placing an order |
| Payment details (card number, etc.) | Not collected on the Site at all — payment is arranged separately, directly with you, after your order request is sent |
The Site uses local browser storage (localStorage) to remember your shopping cart contents between visits — this information stays on your device and is not sent to us until you actually place an order. As of today, the Site does not use cookies for advertising tracking or third-party analytics.
2. What we use the information for
- To process your order, fulfill it, and provide customer service.
- To contact you regarding your order (shipping updates, payment issues, etc.).
- To send updates if you voluntarily signed up for the mailing list — you can always unsubscribe.
3. Who the information is shared with
We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. Information is shared with vendors who operate the service on our behalf, only to the extent required:
- Google Firebase — database hosting and site administrator authentication.
- Resend — sending an email verification code when you send an order request (to prevent spam), sending us an internal email notification about a new order, and sending mailing list updates (not used for third-party marketing).
- Vercel — hosting and running the Site itself.
Once payment is arranged with you separately, an external payment processor may be involved depending on the payment method chosen — payment details themselves never pass through the Site.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with accounting and tax requirements, and resolve disputes — and no longer.
5. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law (including Amendment 13), you are entitled to:
- Review the information held about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of information, subject to legal retention obligations (such as accounting records).
- Unsubscribe from mailing lists at any time.
For any such request, please contact hello@idoroasting.com.
6. Data security
We take reasonable and customary measures to secure the information provided to us, but no method can guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
